David Lee Roth is a famous American rock singer, songwriter and actor. He was born October 10, 1954 in Bloomington, Indiana. Roth is best known as the lead singer of the hard rock band Van Halen and a popular solo artist boasting a number of RIAA-certified Gold and Platinum records. In 2007 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After over two decades of solo career, Roth re-joined Van Halen in 2006 for a North American tour that became the most successful tour in the band's history. In 2012, Roth and Van Halen released their comeback album, "A Different Kind of Truth" that became a smashing success.
Roth was born in the family of ophthalmologist Nathan Roth and Sibyl Roth. The family had three kids: the son Roth and two daughters Allison and Lisa Roth. A renowned eye surgeon, Nathan Roth earned millions via his practice and in real estate. He was even featured on the TV show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in 1984 on which he claims to be promoting Van Halen that has recently been started. Nathan Roth had a huge 14,000-square-foot home in Pasadena, California, named "Rothwood" and a chateau named "Bradbury".
